Volunteering Experience part 3 – Arsenijs Kadiševs
Arsenijs comes from Latvia and he wanted to share his experience with everyone after attending FSAA 2023.
WARNING: after reading this you will probably want to apply to be a part of this year’s event 🙂
I found out about FS Alpe Adria online since I am an engineering student who is very enthusiastic about motorsport. And to fulfill that eagerness to learn I got to know more about the Formula Student world.
It did not take me long to run upon the amazing Formula Student Alpe Adria competition.
Therefore, I wanted to gain direct motorsport experience, and applied to be a volunteer. This role is a great starter in your motorsport career and a nice opportunity to find out and understand a bit more in that field.
Being a volunteer at FSAA was an exceptional bridge between my interest in motorsport and becoming a professional in that domain.
Unforgettable moments at last year’s event gave me more knowledge about the Formula Student world and motorsport in general, but I also got to meet really interesting and intelligent people. Meeting professionals from F1, WRC, Porsche Motorsport, AVL etc. made my experience even better.
Apart from that, I had a fabulous time in a new country for me – Croatia. By being a volunteer you get to experience new beautiful places, and Zagreb, Croatia is definitely a perfect example of such a place.
To conclude, I would like to recommend this experience to everyone who is interested in engineering, motorsports, visiting new places, gaining new experiences or meeting new people and gaining life-long friendships.
See you on the track!
